Why we built Cloak
We were tired of choosing between privacy and the features we actually use.
We wanted to hang out with friends, share files, hop on video calls, and manage communities, all without handing our conversations over to platforms that collect, scan, and monetize them. The private options felt stripped down. The feature-rich ones didn't care about privacy. Nothing fit.
So the two of us started building Cloak: a platform with the features we loved, built on zero-knowledge architecture from day one. The server only ever sees encrypted data. We can't read your messages, and we never will.
Your conversations are yours. That's not a feature; it's the whole point.
